Session 1640 -
Collaborative Strategies in the Age of Digitalization

The fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, is affecting almost every industry worldwide. The rise of technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchains, Internet of Things, quantum computing, and machine learning influences the volume, variety, and velocity of data available to conduct business. These digital technologies enable increasingly sophisticated tasks to be executed by machines and are likely to transform the nature of cooperative strategies. This panel brings together scholars to discuss the implications of digitalization on collaboration. The panelists will explore theoretical and empirical opportunities to better understand how these changes affect both cooperation and coordination issues.
