These topics include: alliance portfolios as a distinctive unit of analysis and its contribution to our understanding of the value creation and appropriation process; the evolution of alliance portfolios including the dynamics of formation and termination via partner defection and its implications for firm performance; and perspectives on enhancing the value creation potential of cross-sector environmental and social collaborations.
